ABOUT THE OWNER:
Jennifer Tomaschow’s love of coffee was born in Germany, where she first visited while stationed there with the US Air Force in 1986. While abroad she was enchanted by the café culture she discovered, and it became her dream to create an American version of the experience at home. To that end she opened the Sugar Bowl, blending the European value for detail and beauty she witnessed with the rich history of a beautiful old building in charming Dansville, NY. She is committed to the Sugar Bowl’s role in the revitalization of Main Street, while always keeping in mind a strong awareness of the history at its roots.
