Whether you are struggling with your weight, feelings of depression or anxiety, pain, difficulty sleeping or looking for a new approach to improving your relationship; mindfulness offers an alternative or a complement to medication. By calming your reactions and increasing your awareness of body sensations and thoughts, you are better informed to change your habitual ways of responding.

 

My therapeutic approach combines mindfulness with cognitive behavioral therapy. Mindfulness  helps to be more aware of what is going on around and within us. With increased awareness we can learn to step outside of our reactions, pause, and make different choices than our habitual reactions to stressors.

 

This is a home office offering a homey, casual setting.  The residential setting is away from the business district adding increased privacy.  For those cat lovers, Ebbie and Henry, therapy assistants, are available upon request!
