The Dansville Summer Concert Series
An annual tradition in Dansville, the Summer Concert Series offers our community a weekly musical performance of local musicians and bands at the Williams Park Gazebo from June to August each year. The Williams Street Park is located on the corner of Washington and Red Jacket streets. In case of rain, any concert may be moved to the firemen’s pavilion in Babcock Park off Morey Avenue.
Concerts take place on Mondays evenings and are free & open to the community. Concerts begin at either 6:30 pm or 7 pm. Please be sure to check the listing below for specific times for each concert.
To support this annual tradition, contributions may be made at any time to the library in the name of the series and are tax-deductible.
The Summer Concert Series is co-sponsored by:
Jon and Linda Shay, Dansville Rotary Club, Dansville Lions Club, Dansville Lioness Club, The Daansville Area Chamber of Commerce, Dansville Women’s Civic Club, Varsity Park Homes, Scovills’ Grille & Brae Burn Recreation Center, Genesee Community College, Town of North Dansville, Village of Dansville, Dansville Dental Professionals and A Smile by Design.
The 2017 Dansville Summer Concert Series Performances: List of Dates are forth coming
From the Aug 10, 2009 Dady Brothers Performance: Feedback from the Band -
"What a night! Wow! The weather threatened to turn very sour, so with reluctance we decided to move the venue to Babcock Park - wondering if our audience would disappear. Not so. The house was packed before we could finish our set-up and folks kept on coming throughout the evening.
This was our 200th show & we wanted it to be a success - and it was - thank you Dansville, your support for our little band from your little town will never be forgotten! You make us proud to represent you!"
